Brendan Daugherty

Brendan's entire legal career has been 100% devoted to trial practice in Kentucky. He has over eight years experience handling both criminal cases and personal injury claims.

After graduating from the University of Kentucky College of Law in 2006, he worked as a trial attorney in the Adult Trial Division of the Louisville Metro Public Defenders Office. He has represented hundreds of individuals charged with crimes ranging from murder to DUI. This job allowed him to gain unparalleled courtroom experience, including trial work. In early 2008, he successfully defended a client charged with Burglary in the First Degree and Robbery in the First Degree whom a jury acquitted in under 20 minutes.

In 2008, he left the public defender to join a highly-respected civil defense firm in Louisville. He worked on cases involving wrongful death, serious physical injury, product liability, car wrecks, slip-and-falls, employment discrimination, and general personal injury. This invaluable experience allows him to help you, the injured person, because he's been on the other side and knows how insurance companies and their attorneys will try to defend your case.

He opened his own office in 2013 focusing primarily on representing people charged with crimes or injured due to another person's negligence.

Now, he has joined with Nick Neumann and Ron Aslam to form Daugherty Neumann & Aslam, PLLC, to help better serve clients. Contact DNA Law today.
